Last night I shot Bonobo at the Albert Hall in Manchester. It was an incredible gig – beautiful venue, amazing music, fantastic atmosphere and a truly lovely crowd. I’ve never had so many friendly gig-goers ask me where they’d be able to see my images before so, whilst I’m still editing the bulk of them, here are a couple to whet your appetites…
Had a fantastic time photographing British electrofolk band Tunng, supported by Pinkunoizu, at Manchester’s Band on the Wall earlier this week. Beautiful, soul-lifting music plus one of the friendliest atmospheres I’ve ever experienced at a gig made for a really special night. Tunng were playing a range of tunes from their new album, Turbines, which I highly recommend you check out and their support act, Danish group Pinkunoizu, are well worth a look too. If you want to catch them live there are still a range of dates left this month at various UK venues (including not-too-distant Liverpool).
